When you send your screenplay to a studio, production company, or agency, every aspect of your script will go through a rigorous development process called script coverage. The studio reader will write a 3-4 page evaluation (report) of the screenplay which will inculde: premise, structure, characters, dialogue, plot, tone, and other critical issues.
